He was right, for Bath is one of the easiest Cities to explore, with a compact centre of broad main streets linked by narrow traffic free lanes. The streets are lined with beautiful historic buildings and pretty shops, and everything you may wish to see is within walking distance, making Bath a true peoples city, and without a skyscraper in sight. If walking is not your thing, Bath has a number of bus tours that are running constantly all day so you can sit back and enjoy the sights of Bath from your seat as a tour guide tells you all about what you are seeing.
