About Weymouth
Weymouth is one of the most finest and famous of all England's seaside resorts, having first been used by King George III to try and help cure his nervous disorder by bathing in the sea. Between 1789 and 1805 the king and other members of the royal family frequented Weymouth 14 times for a holiday.
With miles of superb beaches, an historic harbour, safe bathing in the sheltered bay, and beautiful sea views all around, Weymouth is one of the most beautiful and classic of English resorts.
