About Y Branwen Hotel

A family run hotel, overlooked by Harlech Castle and opposite the championship Royal St. David's Golf Course. Easily accessible by picturesque country roads off of all major motorways to the west. Overlooked by the ancient fortress of Harlech Castle, the refurbished y Branwen Hotel offers comfortable accommodation in pleasant surroundings. Guests can enjoy excellent amenities and superb food prepared by the resident experienced chef. The famous Royal St. David's Golf Course is directly opposite, alongside tennis courts, playing fields and Harlech's heated indoor swimming pool. The hotel has its own ample car park and is conveniently situated 200 yards from the Railway Station and 200 yards from the Town Centre. Located within the Snowdonia National Park, Harlech is set against a breathtaking backcloth of mountains, lakes and streams and picturesque country, where hiking, bird watching, fresh and sea water fishing and pony trekking are readily to hand. Other local attractions include Portmeirion Italianate Village, the Festiniog railway and various world famous slate mines.
