A picture of Sowerby
Blakey Lane, in Sowerby, North Yorkshire, is an ancient lane dating from the late 1700's. It is the last remaining such lane on entering the village of Sowerby. Unfortunately this lane is about to be destroyed in the interest of redevelopment by way of a new small housing estate.
