Lindisfarne, Holy Island.

I composed this picture of Lindisfarne Castle with most of this bright coloured lichen, which covered the rock. It was the orange colour that grabbed my attention. Perhaps I over composed it? This was scanned from a photo which was taken about 12yrs ago. Would like to go there again sometime in the future?

I don't think you over composed, I love the picture(a real sense of how invaders must have felt) The rocks are amazingly interesting, the patterns of lines and I am the same with lichen photographing in the countryside, it always catches my eye, the low angle from which you composed is perfect and this is the best perspective shot of a castle I've seen on this site (and I've viewed hundreds of pictures here, commenting on some)
