Parts of the Church date from the 13th century. The church has some interesting monuments inside and is well worth a visit. It was described by Nikolaus Pevsner in his 'Buildings of England' series as "one of the richest churches of Berkshire (Faringdon being a newcomer to Oxfordshire) A picture of: Faringdon Photograph taken with a Canon Canon PowerShot S60 This picture also appears in the following picture tour: pictures by this user user contact user profile use picture in website or blog Add a comment...Please login to make a comment on this picture © 2001-2008 Pictures of England.com - All rights reserved - Terms & Conditions - Free Pictures |
