A picture of Lincoln
St Benedict's Church, Lincoln - only part of this Early English church survives. The nave was damaged to such an extent during the Civil War that it was afterwards taken down. The tower was rebuilt c1670. What remains of this building is today home to the Lincoln Diocesan Mother's Union, who run a cafe and rest centre here.
