Moody image, I like the evening? mist rising from the canal and the sense of privacy provided by each individual boat, I've never travelled in a barge, never even boarded one (kayak, rowing boat, light fishing boat, glass bottomed boat, ferry) Never been on a barge. Appeals from the 'simpler' way of life
