A picture of Edgbaston
The Pump House. Severn Trent Water PLC, Edgbaston, Birmingham. The pump house and chimney were built in 1862 and thought to have inspired the tower of 'Minas Tirith' from J.R.R. Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings'fantasy novels. Adjacent to this is a structure called 'Perrot's Folley'. This feature is thought to have inspired the tower of 'Minas Morgul'.
