We are a city centre hotel in the heart of Birmingham! We are also surrounded by the major stores, designer shops, jewellery market and shopping arcades. A hotel in the heart of Birmingham surrounded by major stores, designer shops, jewellery markets and shopping centres. The hotels restaurant and bar offer a range of hot and cold food. The 9th floor of the hotel is devoted to conferences and banquets with outstanding panoramic views over the city. Birmingham's famous Chinese and Balti restaurants are a short walking distance, as are the cultural and civic centres. Nightlife and entertainment are literally on the doorstep. New Street train station is 2 minutes walk, with quick access to the National Exhibition Centre and the main line networks. If you want to be right on the spot, there is no better hotel than Britannia Birmingham. We are currently refurbishing the hotel (work ongoing until mid 2006), however disturbance to guests is minimal.
