About Rose Cottage

The accommodation of this pretty cottage comprises of one double bedroom and two single bedrooms. The fith bed is a pullout if needed,The bathroom is large with shower over bath.
Kitchen diner with electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. The kitchen has stable door access which leads to an enclosed mature garden, with lawn and a variety of shrubs and flowers. The garden has an alfresco dining area.
The lounge has comfortable seating, open fire, television, bookcase with a selection of reading matter for adults and children, and games. There is also a dinning room..
Long Melford - historic buildings, antique shops and restaurants.
Sudbury - market town, with farmers market and home to Gainsborough
Kentwell Hall - Tudor history enactments.
Melford Hall various events throughout the year.
Village of Clare - Country Park with its forgotten railway.
Lavenham – wool history and historic buildings.
Bury St Edmunds, with its cathedral and Abbey Gardens is a short drive away.
Newmaket, Snape Maltings and Aldeburgh are easily accessible.
We have a supply of leaflets of various places you can visit and things to do.
Glemsford has several pubs, shop, and take away.
Central heating throughout
All bed linen and towels are supplied, free of charge.
On site parking for two cars
Short breaks can be arranged.
No smoking.
First basket of logs for fire is provided, thereafter, this can be obtained from local suppliers.
