Suffolk Hotel Gold & Leisure has 40 bedrooms, many with great views across the golf course and woods. The redesigned 18 hole golf course is described as one of prettiest in East Anglia. The Genevieve, measuring 6,345 yards, is a classic parkland course that provides a test for golfers of all abilities. The river Lark meanders through the course coming into play along with many water hazards and areas of mature woodland. We welcome golf societies, available Monday to Friday. The hotel is an ideal base for business people, travellers or visitors to the area. Each room is en suite and guests have full use of our club facilities and restaurants. The Suffolk has 2 main dining areas. The more formal dining room, The Genevieve Restaurant, is open in the evening with an à la carte menu that suits most palates. We also offer a varied selection of vegetarian dishes. Table d'hôte menus are available on request for group reservations. The Lounge Restaurant and bar are ideal for light meals and snacks throughout the day and evening. The balcony area is ideal on warm days for those looking out over the course. We have 3 conference suites, accommodating up to the maximum of 150 delegates, theatre style. They are fully equipped and thoughtfully laid out to provide total flexibility. We offer easy access and natural light in the suites. A 2nd, larger boardroom style conference room is also available for those wanting more than one meeting room. The Suffolk is licensed to hold civil weddings. Our air conditioned Lark function room can hold up to 140 guests and includes a large dance floor for the evening festivities. It has its own bar and separate entrance. There is a large patio for guests and a dedicated complimentary bridal suite overlooking the golf course.
