The house is set in magnificent gardens opening onto the Bristol Downs at the front - an open park of some 450 acres - and onto the Botanic Gardens at the back. Truly a countryside location in the heart of the city. It is ideally situated for the amenities of the City, including theatres, cinemas, restaurants, both Universities & special places of interest, yet it lies amid the peaceful surroundings of acres of open parkland. The house is furnished with fine period furniture and paintings, and a library containing many interesting books on the history of Bristol. The accommodation comprises 8 thoughtfully furnished bedrooms, each with its own facilities. Car Parking in the Grounds. It is helpful to give an approximate time of arrival - particulary at weekends. Conference and Training Facilities are available in a unique location on the edge of Bristol's Floating Harbour.
