About Castle Cottage

COTTAGE CASTLE is situated in the ancient heart of Bishop's Castle.
This interesting old 3 storey buliding is situated in view of the remains of the Castle and overlooking the picnic and recreation area. It is constructed with stone from the old castle remains and retains many of its original features. The lounge diner has its original beams. Cottage Castle offers lounge with a raised kitchen area with a large inglenook and woodburning stove. Second floor - large family room, including 1 double & 1 single bed & bathroom. First floor - 2 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 single. The cottage stands just 200 yards from a selection of shops , pubs, and restaurants with the famous Three Tuns brewery pub, Six Bells brewery pub and the timbered 'House on Ctutches' which dates from 1573 close by. The tree less Clun forest , Offa's Dyke, Shrewsbury, Ironbridge Ludlow racecourse, golf course and castles are all a short drive away.. Surrounded by shropshire;s rolling hills there is a wealth of history, interesting walking in and around Castle Cottage and this charming ancient market town
