About Marquess Of Exeter Hotel
The quiet village of Lyddington provides the setting for the charming and charismatic Marquess of Exeter. .This 16th Century former coaching inn has recently been taken over by The Rutland Pub Co. We offer excellent facilities in a stunning setting with welcoming open fires and low beamed ceilings. The menus are wide ranging and have a modern European influence. Particularly recommended is the 8oz fillet steak which is hung for 21 days for a simply delicious flavour. All dishes are home-cooked and freshly prepared to order. The Marquess of Exeter also has 18 comfortable rooms all with en-suite facilities.
