Thrum Mill

A mile to the east of Rothbury on the beautiful path known as "Lover's Walk" along the banks of the River Coquet stands the Thrum Mill: sometimes known as Rothbury East Mill. . Just past a small hamlet of a few sandstone houses, the mill is on the right. A Grade II listed building it is now boarded up, past its prime and inaccessible.

Photograph taken with a FUJIFILM FinePix S1000fd
