About The Coach House

This is a genuine Victorian coach house converted to provide comfortable bijou holiday accommodation for two people. Set in a quiet location two miles from Rothbury, in a wonderfully scenic part of Northumberland, with outstanding views of the Cheviot Hills. Ideal for walkers and cyclists. Centrally heated, TV, DVD, electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Laundry facilities available in main house. Enclosed garden with decking and furniture set in two acres of woodland. Ample private parking. Pets are welcome.
This 4 Star Visit Britain property offers 1 double bedroom and sleeps two people. Accommodation comprises a double bed sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and dining room. The property has been equipped to high standards with wood floors throughout.
The location offers fantastic opportunities for walkers and cyclists, starting literally at the front door. The cottage faces West with uninterrupted views of the hills and the chance of brilliant sunsets. It is surrounded by decking with outside furniture for sun-bathing and meals. A chiminea is provided for those who fancy some al fresco cooking.
For those with an interest in wildlife there are great opportunities with Buzzards overhead most days, a resident family of Stoats and the occasional Red Squirrel.
In 2011 a utility room will be available equipped with a washing machine and freezer also providing secure storage for bikes and a clothes drying area.
