An impressive, detached, luxury holiday cottage in Northumberland. Stay in our picture postcard holiday cottage and use it as a gateway to enjoy Northumbria’s many pleasures. The holiday cottage enjoys panoramic views to Northumbria’s Heritage Coast, Warkworth Castle and Coquet Island. Well equipped, warm and comfortable the Shieling is an ideal holiday lodge at any season of the year. It has an extremely attractive open plan living area and sleeps 6. A lovely sunny conservatory, overlooking rolling countryside, is ideal for relaxing after touring Northumberland’s’ holiday destination castles, coastline and pretty, fishing villages. Recently built, in a peaceful location, it is equipped to a high standard. There is great attention to detail personally supervised by the owner. The Shieling is light and airy, has a vaulted, beamed ceiling and features a ‘floor to roof’ window providing excellent holiday self -catering accommodation. Majestic Alnwick Town, Castle and Garden are only 5 miles away. This holiday cottage is of the highest standard and within easy touring distance are Lindisfarne, the Cheviots, Northumberland National Park, Hadrian’s Wall and Otterburn. Historic sites galore and contrasting coast and country offer a holiday full of variety and contrast in the superb, spacious Shieling holiday cottage where we hope you will share our love of Northumberland.
A single storey, luxury detached cottage with attractive open plan living area. Elegant, open plan living dining area with doors to conservatory with views towards the sea. A large fully fitted kitchen includes coffee machine, slow cooker and Forman Grill. This holiday base offers 1 double bedroom with ensuite shower room, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bedroom with full size bunks, family bathroom.
