Homildon House, (4* quality in tourism award sleeps 6+ baby) on Spylaw Farm- in glorious rolling countryside and surrounded by sweeping hills, the converted shepherd’s cottage and byres, on a working farm, offer beautiful accommodation in two converted stone cottages, Cuddy's Croft (Sleeps 2+ baby) and Homildon House (Sleeps 6). Homildon House has three luxury bedrooms, two double (one en-suite) and one twin, with secluded south facing walled garden, BBQ and garden furniture;ideal base for families,groups and couples wishing to explore; Lots of activities on the farm and locally, including walking, cycling, climbing, golfing, fishing, horse riding;
Farm market garden providing seasonal goodies. The village of Chatton with its pub, shop/PO, trout fishery and Gallery is 2 miles away.
Spylaw Farm offers you a very warm welcome to North Northumberland, nestled between the Cheviots and the fantastic Heritage coast; In the heart of rolling countryside, within four miles of a designated AONB, some eight miles from the Northumberland National Park; a short drive to Bamburgh and Ross Beaches; Close to the Farne islands, Lindisfarne and Budle Bay.
We offer a friendly, calm and safe environment for your holiday and are dedicated to providing you with an unforgettable experience, putting you at ease and making every visitor feel relaxed and most welcome. Our enthusiasm for the area, locally sourced and home produced food, our beautiful home and gardens, are completely infectious and we are always happy to share our local knowledge with our guests. There is plenty of information on beautiful places to visit, walks to try, birds to watch and castles to explore.
We have a passion for locally sourced and home produced food are members of Slow Food and Andy's market garden provides seasonal goodies. We provide freshly made meals on request and freshly baked bread. We have a drying room available and cyclists and walkers are most welcome.
