Renamed in 1800 'The Railway Hotel and Posting House', it was a main stop off point for Posting Carriages, then having stables to house horses and accommodation for travellers. In 1901 it was transformed into what you see today and named The Station Hotel. The Main Bar was completely refurbished in November 1999 in the colours and design of the period and features an open fire place.
