Built and owned by the Dugdale family until 1977 this is a house that has played host to lords, queens and diplomats over the years including hrh The Queen Mother, Sir Winston Churchill and Macmillan. The grand mahogany panelling, the ornate carved stone fireplaces, large windows that look out onto the immaculate lawns and gardens, the sumptuous sofas and the general air of understated opulence, all radiate the warmth and affection the generations that lived here have put into this house.
