All bedrooms are individually designed with 28' LCD TV's and DVD players and the Leven Restaurant boasts 2 AA Rosettes As you meander down the drive, past the meadows and through the oak trees, you will arrive at one of Yorkshires grandest country houses. Built and owned by the Dugdale family until 1977 this is a house that has played host to lords, queens and diplomats over the years including hrh The Queen Mother, Sir Winston Churchill and Macmillan. It has always been a place where people came to enjoy themselves to the full, a tradition still remains today. The grand mahogany panelling, the ornate carved stone fireplaces, large windows that look out onto the immaculate lawns and gardens, the sumptuous sofas and the general air of understated opulence, all radiate the warmth and affection the generations that lived here have put into this house. Far from being intimidated by the grandeur, you will soon feel like a guest in an old friends home. A feeling thats fuelled by the genuine and warm hospitality you receive when you arrive.
