Sad cottage

This cottage is just outside Carlton le Moorland and stands in the middle of a field. It hasn't been lived in for years and is gradually falling down. I would love to know its history and something of the people who once lived here. It always looks so desolate, even on a beautiful sunny day, standing there in the middle of nowhere.

What a lonely little house. I feel sorry for it. I would also love to know its history. Nice shot and a good eye.
