A lovely country house in the heart of the Midlands on the edge of Melton Mowbray known as 'The Queen of the Shires'. Famed for its Stilton cheese and pork pies. Easy access to M1, A1, Leicester and Nottingham. A beautiful country house overlooking a formal landscaped garden of 2 acres with sweeping lawns and outstanding views. You will be surrounded by elegance, comfort and friendly care. The house is within easy reach of Rutland Water and its outlying villages, ancient Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham. All rooms have the benefit of self-catering facilities ideal for the independent traveller/business person. These include a small kitchenette and eating area, complete with microwave, hot plate and fridge. A continental breakfast is provided in the room. For the convenience of guests, a selection of delicious ready prepared meals can be purchased for those who prefer to eat in their rooms making use of the kitchenette facilities. The Grange is licensed to serve beers, wines and spirits. Discounts are available for guests staying for three nights or more.
