Trains, buses, A20 and A2 trunk routes all within half a mile. We have been awarded a 4 Diamond rating by the Tourist Board. Blakes of Dover offers beautifully decorated non-smoking en-suite rooms: sleeping 2 to 4 guests. All rooms have colour televisions and complementary tea, coffee and biscuits etc., radio alarm clock, trouser press and hairdryer. Our spacious superior rooms have a king size bed and also one or two additional single beds, to accommodate a family of three or four. Blakes of Dover also has a wonderful restaurant and bar, with an international reputation, providing a delightful medium for eating and drinking. Our real ales have now been extended with the installation of a 6 barrel stillage offering micro brewery ales. We are listed in the Good Beer Guide, the Good Cider Guide and the Good Pub Food Guide, and in March 2006 we were voted Pub of the Year for the district by the Campaign for Real Ale.
