About King Street Hotel
King Street Hotel offers guests first class comfortable accommodation in Maidstone town centre. Ideally situated with a friendly bar, quiet lounge, night porter and bedrooms furnished to a superior standard. King Street hotel was built as a Vicarage in the early 1800's and later became the Water Rates Office for Maidstone and its surrounding villages. It was purchased privately in 1997 and restored to its former glory as a grand old house and providing first class accommodation. The hotel is family run and offers a warm and friendly service. Since the hotel is in a listed building, unfortunately we do not have a lift. PARKING OPTIONS: (1) THE HOTEL HAS FREE PARKING BEHIND A BARRIER OPPOSITE THE HOTEL DURING WEEKDAYS FROM 6PM - 8 AM MONDAY - FRIDAY AND FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND COMMENCING 6 PM FRIDAY - 8 AM MONDAY MORNING. (2) PARKING BAYS OPPOSITE THE HOTEL ARE FREE FROM 6 PM - 8 AM. ALL WEEK AND DURING THE WEEKEND, BUT AFTER 8 AM METERS MUST BE FED. THESE METERS ARE FREE ON SUNDAYS. (3) THE HOTEL HAS A SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT WITH A SECURE CAR PARK VERY NEARBY FOR OVERNIGHT PARKING, WHERE GUESTS MAY PARK FOR 1.50 PER NIGHT (PAID TO HOTEL) FROM 4 PM - 10AM. (MAY DRIVE IN AND OUT ANY TIME) ON ARRIVAL AT HOTEL GIVE RECEPTION DESK YOUR REGISTRATION NUMBER AND MAKE OF VEHICLE AND YOUR VEHICLE WILL BE BOOKED IN AND YOU WILL BE DIRECTED IN TO THE CAR PARK.
