About The George Hotel

The George Hotel and Brasserie is one of Cranbrook's landmark buildings, dating back to the 14th century. Guests can easily access local attractions, as well as enjoy the relaxing ambiance of the hotel itself. The hotel is a privately owned, family run business where guests have come to expect the warmest welcome with excellent, but unfussy service. In design terms, the intelligent pairing of old and new is a reflection of Mark and Sara's 'anything is possible' attitude. This philosophy extends to every aspect of the hotel and brasserie. All twelve bedrooms are fully en suite and offer home-from-home comforts. Each are individually designed, with sumptous fabrics centered around commisioned or discovered pieces of furniture and art. There is an interesting choice of both period and modern, contemporary rooms where thought has been given to features that will enhance your visit such as the latest flat panal TV's with SKY. Luxury Egyptian cotton adorns the large double beds. The hotel has two feature rooms; \"Heather\" which has a jacuzzi bath for the ultimate spa-effect and \"Crimson\" which has a hand-carved four-poster bed and gold-painted ceiling for a touch of opulance and decadence. All bathrooms are equipped with fluffy white towels, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames Spa Therapy collection. Guests are also provided with tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary mineral water. All rooms are non-smoking. Family rooms are available on request. All rates include full English breakfast. PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR SATURDAY NIGHT STAYS THROUGHOUT JUNE, JULY & SEPT THAT A MINIMUM OF 2 NIGHT'S STAY IS REQUIRED. PLEASE ENTER '2' NIGHTS WHEN CHECKING AVAILABILITY.
