Winchester is home to one of England's largest cathedrals, 'Winchester Cathedral' has its origins in the 7th century, when
a Christian Church was first built on the site. Hampshire has many notable attractions including, 'Mottisfont Abbey Gardens', 'Broadlands' a magnificent 18th century house in a superb setting on the banks of the River Test and Famous for being the home of Lord Mountbatten, and 'Highclere Castle' home of the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon and probably the finest Victorian home still in existence.
