Actor Bill Pertwee at the Mid Hants War On The Line Day, who played Air raid Warden Hodges in the BBC sitcom Dad's Army. This sucesssful TV show was about the local Volunteer Defence Force in fictional Walmington-on-Sea, set during WW2, and their escapades in the defense of Britian.
