A picture of Tewkesbury

Healings Mill Healings mill is a typical Victorian factory warehouse built in 1869 by Samuel Healing. It stayed in the family until 1961 and now belongs to allied mills. At one time grain from America and Canada was transported from the docks at Avonmouth or Sharpness by the firms barges. The barges, named after local villages, are mainly now only used for storage, although a few are now again in commercial use.
