About Halland Forge Hotel

The Halland Forge is a charming country inn set in the heart of Sussex, adjacent to unspoilt woodland. Close to the Sussex Downs and Ashdown Forest, it is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful countryside. The Halland Forge is reputedly built on the site of an old village forge. The attractive single storey building, with oak beams and a welcoming log fire in winter, has been a hostelry for over fifty years. The Inn can accommodate up to 42 guests. Its comfortable bedrooms are all en suite and have the usual amenities. The bar and lounge area have ample seating for you to relax with a morning coffee, afternoon tea or a drink. A wide selection of meals are also available.
