About Chesil Beach Cottage

Chiswell is the first village on Portland, to the right as you approach and is on the level with the sea wall and Chesil Beach on the right.
The house is one of a pair of old houses built of Portland stone, inside are some 17th-18th century features . It is on three floors and can accommodate up to six (4 adults and 2 children).
At the end of the prom - 5/10 minutes walk, there is a cove which is very pleasant, and safe for children and for bathing. There is a nice cafe there. The pub on the prom is family-friendly and does good food.
Enjoy the grand scenery, formed mainly of cliff sides and disused stone quarries. The wildlife is renowned. Ensure you get to Portland Bill - we recommend the cafe there!
Portland cottage offers one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bunk bedroom. Living room with solid fuel stove, bathroom with shower over bath, kitchen. There is a warm sheltered front garden and a small back yard.
