The hotel is only two minutes leisurely walk from miles of golden sand and a five- minute drive from Bournemouth town centre with its excellent shopping and entertainment facilities. The Victorian hotel is steeped in local theatrical history. Many great names in show business has stayed at the Chine, while walking the boards at one or other of Bournemouth's many theatres. The hotel has a charming wall of fame, which illustrates some of those stars of days gone by. On arrival at the hotel, you will be greeted by the amazing views from the dining room, which can been seen from reception. Many of the rooms boast such wonderful views over the treetops and out to sea. Note that not all rooms can be reached by the lift.
