About Connaught Lodge
A charming 3-star AA hotel and leisure centre; part of the adjacent, highly acclaimed, Rosette awarded, Best Western Connaught Hotel. The Connaught Lodge is an excellent venue for leisure breaks, private functions and conferences - the Connaught complex has its own heated outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms and a well-equipped gymnasium. The hotel is located on the West Cliff just 5 minutes walk from the town centre, the Pavilion theatre, the BIC, gardens, pier and golden beaches. Positioned in an acre of its own grounds, there is car parking for 66 cars. Originally built in 1900 as a gentleman's residence, the hotel is every inch the charming expression of that ideal. A warm welcome awaits you from the management and staff in the reception which is located in the main Connaught building.
