The Fox and Hounds Hotel is a small friendly hotel with Dartmoor for a back garden. A family run hotel with an excellent restaurant with full a la carte menu. The Fox and Hounds Hotel is a family run hotel which is open all day all year round. The Fox and Hound has a full a La Carte restaurant & bar snack menu where food is served all day long. Our food is mostly home made. We also have a specials board, which is changed daily with selections of fresh fish & vegetarian meals. The hotel has 6 fully en- suite bedrooms which have tea and coffee facilities, remote control televisions shower & bath. We also provide early morning calls; breakfast is served from 7.00am onwards. We are situated on the edge of North Dartmoor between Tavistock & Okehampton (9 miles), about 25 miles from Exeter & Plymouth. Local attractions include: Lydford Gorge, Morewellham Quay, Cotele House Launceston & Okehampton castle, the West Devon Way & Major cycle routes. We can arrange activities such as walking, golf, horse riding, folk weekends, and water sports.
