Pools Brooke Country Park, Staveley, Derbyshire

Close to Staveley in Derbyshire is Pools Brooke Country Park this is a regenerated area that was yet another closed colliery, the Markham Pit. Although small it is a pleasant walk around three ponds, lots of wildlife, play area, water activities, horse riding and cafe.
