Not sure if I frightened this little mouse to death. It ran out in front of me and then froze. Mind it was in the right spot because I was in a graveyard at the time.

It looks like a little wood mouse Karen. We have a family of them living under the shed (that's country living for you!) I have some pictures of them eating the bird seed. Great picture!

He looks injured. Maybe he was faking death, and then high-tailed it when you had done taking pictures.
