This waterfall is known as the biggest waterfall in Northumberland. It sits on the river Irthing which acts as a border between Northumberland and Cumbria. When levels are normal, there are two seperate falls, as shown in this photo, however, after significant rain and rise in levels, the two falls can sometimes merge to become one huge roaring torrent.
