About Elim House

Elim House is situated just a minute from the bustling village of Bowness and Lake Windermere. Judith and Steve offer you a warm welcome to Elim House, serving fresh home cooking in a pleasant atmosphere. We have both limited private parking and on-street parking with no restrictions. All of our en suite rooms have a comfortable bed, tea and coffee machine, heating, colour tv, armchairs, hairdryer and private shower room with wc. There are a wide variety of shops and restaurants in the area as well as a cinema, all within easy strolling distance of the house. Lake Windermere is only a ten minute walk away. Here you will find an abundance of water sports for the energetic, or if you prefer to take things easier, a cruise on one of the lake steamers will enable you to take in the wonderful scenery of the area.
