A family-run, five bedroom hotel overlooking the River South Tyne in the picturesque market town of Alston in Cumbria. Situated on the A686 in the heart of the North Pennines and 18 miles from the M6 and the Lake District. A splendid nineteenth century hotel in the centre of the North Pennines, overlooking the South Tyne River. Situated in picturesque Alston (the highest market town in England), at the heart of this area of outstanding natural beauty. We offer a public bar with traditional cask ales, non-smoking restaurant (functions catered for), bar meals, residents lounge, meeting room, secured housing for cycles and dogs, drying rooms, beer garden and patio and an ample adjacent car and coach park.
