Lands End and the Longships Lighthouse, Cornwall

Where does the land really end? With the tumbled boulders stretching down from Lands End into the sea, or with the rocky outcrops sticking up out of the water creating a hazard for shipping, like the ones on which the Longships Lighthouse is built?
