Trehellas HouseWashaway, Bodmin, Cornwall, EnglandAbout Trehellas HouseTrehellas Country House, built around 1740, is a traditional coaching inn that has been turned into a fabulous country house hotel located in the heart of Cornwall. Many of the original features still remain, including the ground floor Delobole slate floors and the external mounting block. Trehellas is a family-owned country house with real warmth and character, close to all that the county has to offer. The original courtroom, dating back to the 1700's, is a spectacular bedroom (loved by honeymooners). The beamed, romantic, candlelit restaurant with its Delabole slate flag floor offers the very best of locally sourced meats, fish, fruit, vegetables and delicious Cornish cheeses. We are very proud that the standard of our classical cooking has helped us achieve an AA rosette in 2007. The restaurant was Michelin recommended in 2007. Come and relax, let us look after you and send you home refreshed and eagerly looking forward to returning to Trehellas one day.
