About Tredethy Country Hotel
Tredethy is a family run country mansion house set within a ten acre garden in the heart of the Camel Valley. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock and Padstow are all within 20 minutes. Tredethy offers luxury guest accommodation in a superb rural location. Generous sized bedrooms with fantastic views over the Camel Valley. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and some rooms have sitting areas. All are decorated and furnished to the highest of standards to ensure a truly luxurious country house feel. Tredethy retains many of the original features you would expect from a house of this age and stature, such as granite fireplaces, beautiful decorative plasterwork, high ceilings and large sash windows. Enjoy our ten-acre garden with the outdoor heated swimming pool (May to September). The property has royal connections, having been purchased by Prince Chula of Siam in 1945. He was the legal guardian of Prince Bira, a famous motor racing champion of the 1930's and 1940's. Our house is Johansens recommended and has recently been featured in the Guardian newspaper as a great place to stay (April 2005).
