Pictures of Elstow;)  Submitted by Lyn Greenaway(24th February 2008)Elstow Church notice the clock/bell tower is not on the top of church but next to it! Legend says when the towers were built they were joined to the church, but the Devil tried to show his strength by stealing them. He failed in this but managed to push the tower away from the church so he would retain a vantage point to watch all the wicked activities of the local people.
