Corporation Pier

This was taken back end of 2009. Its a view from the viewing gallery at The Deep in Hull. The pier just bottom left has a big history, once had in Victorian times a double deck. In my time as a lad growing up paddle steamers used to run from here to New Holland a trip across the river.

Lake

This shot is part of the lake in East Park, the largest park in Hull. The park houses the new animal enclosure with tropical birds, deer, goats, even spiders and snakes. It's well worth a trip with the grandchildren

Artic Corsair

This is on the River Hull and is a trawler which played a big part in our fishing industry. Now a museum piece and you can have a look round it

The Old Mill

This stands at Hessle foreshore just a few miles out of Hull going west and in the shadow of the Humber Bridge. Leading from here you can go on a walk through a country park which was once the home of Chalk Quarry and remains of which you can see as you go through the park. There is an abundance of wild life to be seen too.

Humber Bridge

Once the largest single span bridge in the world and a great place to walk,cycle or run over to see the great sights of the River Humber. Here you will see some beautifull sunsets some of which are the best in the country don't take my word for it go see yourself.

Holy Trinity Church

Holy Trinity Church stands proud in the old Town area of Hull. This area of the city is also steeped in History and should you wonder around here look for plaques on walls telling you of famous people in days gone by. Trinity House, the once Post Office building that was once a Palace and much much more.
