Some rigging. It was restored with 2.5 km of wire standing rigging, 14km rope for running rigging, 400 wooden blocks, 700 shackles, 41 spars, 9 mast sections.

The Mizzen Mast

You can see the huge crane which in conjunction with a smaller crane lifted the masts into place. The first had already been raised when I arrived. This took place on 10th December 2011. The Queen is due to reopen the ship in April 2012.
