Lonely B29 wreckage on Shelf Moor. The Peak District is the site of many air crashes.This is the crash site of a B29 bomber which hit the moor in 1948 at Shelf Moor. The aircraft took part in the Bikini Atoll hydrogen bomb tests, so there is quite a bit of history sitting here.
