David Reynolds(23rd August 2014)Lucky John----5 mins later it was gone!
David Reynolds(20th August 2014)The sunlight was quite intense as it was midday, so going back sometime to shoot it again to try and display the inscriptions clearer.
David Reynolds(16th August 2014)Very nice & friendly John--worth a visit if you are around the Cotswolds.
David Reynolds(15th August 2014)Thanks Dave----ten minutes later it poured down!
David Reynolds(6th August 2014)Denise is in the thick of it. Looks great John.

David Reynolds(14th July 2014)Hi Sue, It's definitely worth a visit to read all the articles and see the brothers' personal part in WW1.
David Reynolds(12th July 2014)Thank you Dave--unusual to have photographs at a memorial--makes it more real!
David Reynolds(5th July 2014)Thanks Vince. If you look at www.flat-brokefilms.co.uk you will see the rest of this year's dates/places they can be seen dancing at around the West Country.
David Reynolds(3rd July 2014)Thanks Nola----it's certainly an interesting church in the middle of The Cotswolds.
David Reynolds(30th June 2014)Thanks very much.
David Reynolds(30th June 2014)And it was my car too!
| David Reynolds(11th June 2014)Hi John,
They were escaping from the two Swans---a territorial thing. After crossing the bridge they turned right and headed for the canal bank and into the water! |
David Reynolds(29th April 2014)Thanks John----looks good, but it was a very cold day indeed!
David Reynolds(17th August 2013)Many thanks John L & Mike T---shots taken from my sister-in-law's house back garden which overlooks the River Exe. A million-pound location!
David Reynolds(7th August 2013)Had problems getting a nice view with trees getting in the way and our open-top bus travelled along a bouncy lane.
David Reynolds(7th August 2013)Thanks all--shot taken from the top of an open-top bus thus the height angle of the view.
David Reynolds(1st August 2013)It's defiantly worth visiting Regency Cheltenham just to see its wide streets, avenues of trees and parks.
David Reynolds(28th July 2013)Many thanks Mike T---yes you're right---it's such a quaint Cotswold village which is used by many film crews. That's why I went there to update my film location lists.
David Reynolds(26th July 2013)Thanks Mike T, DJ & Vince H---shot taken from the safety of my front bedroom window. Expecting a similar reaction during tomorrow's Saturday (27/07/13) thunderstorm.
David Reynolds(16th July 2013)Thanks for the kind comments. I found this shot in an old album of mine and scanned it, best David.
David Reynolds(14th July 2013)Thanks Mike. This is one of my favourite coastal harbours. A tranquil location on Porlock Bay.
David Reynolds(24th June 2013)Thanks David
David Reynolds(22nd June 2013)Nice shot Mike.
David Reynolds(18th June 2013)It was fortunate I was passing through just after the village road was resurfaced----thus no yellow lines to spoil the street scene.
David Reynolds(17th June 2013)Many thanks Mike. I like your shots to, best David
David Reynolds(16th June 2013)Many thanks Jenny, Cathmyl & Pat--I found this shot in an old 1970's album from when we lived at Silverton, 8 miles north of Exeter and 3 miles south of Exe Bridge. Lovely area.

| David Reynolds(1st November 2012)We've lived in this semi-rural area for 30 years and this open countryside is only a 100yds away from the village-really lovely.
|
David Reynolds(30th October 2012)Many thanks Pat, cheers David
David Reynolds(30th October 2012)Thanks Pat & Cathyml---my favourite place Topsham

David Reynolds(24th May 2012)Sorry for the delayed response--there still is great interest in Brian especially in Russia where a new book was recently published "Brian Jones: Lonsome Rebel". It was printed in russian language, but we are helping translating it into english.
David Reynolds(23rd March 2012)Windows or no windows--I can assure you that this was a refuelling VC10 as I flew on board it and it carried approx 20 passengers on board. It refuelled many jets over the North Sea as shown on my other photos under the "Lyneham" heading. Cheers David.
David Reynolds(10th January 2012)I agree with you Gary. Also, just below the candle holder there appears to be a "face" behind the glass window--spooky!
David Reynolds(8th July 2011)According to a friend from the North Devon/West Somerset, this shot often appears as a backdrop on the BBC Points West TV show---anyone else spotted it yet?
David Reynolds(8th July 2011)Almost looks like a "Chocolate Box" cover shot--very pretty!
David Reynolds(8th July 2011)Upon reflection, very nice!
David Reynolds(8th July 2011)Very nice shot indeed!
David Reynolds(5th May 2011)Many thanks both Cathmyl & Pat---this field was quite beautiful where I shot many views of it. Lovely time of year in the UK!
David Reynolds(3rd May 2011)Very nice "old-fashioned feel" shot.
David Reynolds(24th April 2011)Thanks Pat--we were checking the area out for a film location for our "A Safe Bet" heist thriller - could be our gang's getaway area within the dockside buidings?
David Reynolds(27th March 2011)I was inside a VC-10 RAF refuelling jet aircraft shooting the photos through the very last porthole window. Fortunately I had a great view and the weather was clear with the sun off to our left. I shot over 40 pictures for RAF Innsworth where I was based. An amazing honour and treat to photograph these fantastic ariel shots.
David Reynolds(15th March 2011)Many thanks Mick. Fantastic location - worth the struggle to get there, cheers Dave.
David Reynolds(8th March 2011)Very nice composition Sarah.
David Reynolds(4th November 2010)I think this is my best shot ever, right place, right time. I'm so pleased with the fantastic comments - many thanks all!
David Reynolds(15th September 2010)Just stunning!
David Reynolds(28th August 2010)There's a similar wide angle view on my Porlock Weir or Porlock page. As you say a beautiful view with the mid-morning sun behind the camera point--also my favourite shot. Thanks for your comments Linda.
David Reynolds(8th August 2010)I don't know about "modern design" as this is the only tower block in Cheltenham and is at least 40 years old!
David Reynolds(30th July 2010)Like "Through the looking-glass" perhaps?
David Reynolds(30th May 2010)Seagulls over...?? Nice shot!
David Reynolds(30th May 2010)Excellent shot!
David Reynolds(30th May 2010)Well composed shot---perhaps to many ciders or one shorter leg??

David Reynolds(7th May 2010)Just happen to be there at the end of a perfect day--thanks David R.
David Reynolds(28th March 2010)Lovely light
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Makes you shiver just looking at this excellent Exmoor scene - very nice winter shot.
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)They are still there!!
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Very nice shot
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Nearly as good as my shot-only joking-looks good.
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Nice shot
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Very nice
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Just for information, Fred & Rose West lived in a flat next door to Holst's Museum before moving to their infamous house in Cromwell Street, Gloucester.

David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Cheltenham's Masonic Lodge HQ
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Actually the "Wishing Fish" Clock
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Nice shot
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)At least the building is still there-unlike its neighbour to the right - a former cinema/snooker/bingo hall that's soon to be demolished and replaced by flats.
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Nice shot-we used Foremarke Hall when shooting our ghost story film Waters End back in 2006.
David Reynolds(25th March 2010)Captures the "coming and going" very well - good shot!
David Reynolds(24th March 2010)Many thanks Cathyml - it was quite a journey reaching the viewpoint as it could only be reached via Minehead and then by various exposed coastal lanes - but worth it - David R.
David Reynolds(23rd March 2010)Thanks Mick-it's all natural lighting on a very bright April morning.
David Reynolds(16th March 2010)Many thanks Urmimala - looking forward to this year's crop.
David Reynolds(15th March 2010)Looks a little menacing this view like it's about to rain, but nice shot anyway.
David Reynolds(14th March 2010)Many thanks-just lucky with the sunlight and the dark atmosphere within the small cold church interior.
David Reynolds(11th March 2010)Very pleased you like it - got some more I'm adding soon.
David Reynolds(11th March 2010)Many thanks everyone who likes this special view. It's going into an Exmoor magazine "Spring Issue" as part of an article I'm writing about the LOUISA film screenplay we are producing.
David Reynolds(9th March 2010)Many thanks-it was taken high up the Toll Road avoiding the infamous Porlock Hill 1 in 4 incline. The views up there are wonderful-I have more I'll be putting on soon.
