Hadleigh Castle Hadleigh Castle is situated in Essex just before Westclife on Sea heading towards Southend on Sea. It's where King John lived and the Castle dates back to 1500 but is mostly ruins now as their are only three parts of the towers left, but because it sits on top of a hill the view from there is great. A Kings Dog Hadleigh Castle in Hadleigh, Essex where Hubert De Burgh built the castle. There is a lot of history here, but sadly not a lot of the Castle.
