Tin mine engine house, Rinsey Head, Cornwall

The engine house stands empty now but all around is evidence of a once thriving tin industry in Cornwall. This is on the south coast between Helford and Penzance.

Rinsey Head, Cornwall, between Helford and Penzance

Rinsey Head is a headland on the south Cornish coast between Helford and Penzance. Once the site of tin mining, now a pretty part of the Cornish coast path with views of the whole west side of the Lizard peninsula. This house is perched right on the edge.
