Located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, 300-year old Plas Gwyn B&B and Holiday Cottage offers free WiFi and free private parking. It is set in Dolgellau, in a secluded valley, surrounded by mountain streams. This traditional Grade II listed Georgian townhouse retains many period features, including fireplaces and an oak staircase. The rooms feature a flat-screen TV, mini bar, iPod docking station, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite shower rooms have a hairdryer. The Plas Gwyn also offers a one-bedroom holiday cottage. This features a seating area with a wood-burner and a full equipped kitchen. Plas Gwyn also offers a three bed-roomed self catering cottage with enclosed garden and off road parking. It has a large fully equipped dining kitchen, utility room and a sitting room with log burning stove. The main bedroom has an en-suite. North Wales offers castles, coastal paths, and sandy beaches. Barmouth Beach is just 20 minutes’ drive from the Plas Gwyn B&B. Dolgellau is at the foot of the Cader Idris mountain range. It is an ideal base for scenic walks around Snowdonia.
